San Diego-CTIA Enterprise & Applications™ 2011
(Booth #441)-October 11, 2011-RACO
Wireless, a key machine-to-machine (M2M) partner and enabler,
announced that it is providing the M2M backbone for eCare+Voice, an
emergency medical alert communicator and locator from Securus Inc., designed to
help seniors stay independent.
Securus, a market-leading provider of GPS-based products and
services, will launch eCare+Voice in retail channels via its
subsidiary, Zoombak, Inc., in January 2012. eCare+Voice works
indoors and outdoors, anywhere in the United States, using GPS
technology.
eCare+Voice is fully self-contained, with a powerful speaker and
microphone, and does not require a base station. The chargeable
unit features an emergency SOS button that connects the user to the
Securus Emergency Care Center, allowing the user to talk with
emergency specialists instantly.
Seniors can wear eCare+Voice on a lanyard or on a pouch that
attaches to a belt. Caregivers can locate seniors using a web-based
tracking portal or with a cell phone.
"eCare+Voice is a great example of the kind of innovative
applications that M2M can support - products that enhance personal
safety and make our lives better," said John Horn, president of
RACO Wireless. "RACO Wireless enables companies like Securus to
bring cutting-edge, customized M2M applications to market quickly
and cost-effectively."

management tools and the relationships needed to support our

During the CTIA Enterprise & Applications™ 2011 show,
Securus will also demonstrate its eClick product, an emergency GPS
locator that tracks indoors and outdoors using GPS, cellular
triangulation and WiFi. eClick only begins tracking when the
user presses the emergency SOS button, and pressing the emergency
SOS button instantly connects the user with local or campus police,
who can track the user and see turn-by-turn directions to the
user's location.
RACO Wireless will showcase its M2M connectivity and SIM
management solutions, including eClick, eCare+Voice and the Omega Management Suite™, at
the CTIA Enterprise & Applications™ 2011 show at Booth #441.
