Wireless Virtual LAN

The Virtual LAN solution delivers a wired experience over a wide area network. This enables M2M solution providers to build highly responsive features into their wide area applications which were previously not possible. Traditionally wireless applications have been limited by network factors including; an inability to facilitate mobile terminated (server initiated) communication, low availability of public static IPv4 IP addresses, and network idle timeouts.

The RACO Wireless Virtual LAN solution addresses all of these issues through the implementation of secure virtual private networks and device IP reservations which together serve to facilitate direct communication between application servers and devices in the field. This is achieved while increasing data security, eliminating the need to provision a public IPv4 IP address to each and every wireless device and potentially lowering overall data transmission overhead.
